If you would like to import existing/historical payment methods from your current payment processor to JustiFi, you are able to partner with your Platform contact to do so. To start, you will need to request a payment data export with your existing payment processor. If you are unsure how to do so, you will need to reach out directly to your payment processor's support team..
Once you have initiated the process with your previous processor (can take several days for the export), your platform contact will need to complete a 'Payment Method Import' form in our Platform Support Center. We will only accept tickets directly from your platform in order to complete the payment method import process.
After the form has been submitted, you will need to send the below information to your platform contact so that they can add it to their ticket with JustiFi. You will need to request this directly from your previous payment processor.
- Previous processor's PCI AoC (Attestation of Compliance)
- Sample File with .csv or .json of the import format for the previous processor
We will need to review the PCI AoC from every merchant's previous processor to ensure that they are PCI compliant, as we only accept payment method transfers from other PCI compliant payment processors.
Because each payment processor has different formats for their import file, this process can take several days as our team will need to build an import process for your specific processor. JustiFi will then establish an SFTP connection or the previous processor will establish an SFTP connection with JustiFi for the encrypted import file to be securely sent and retrieved. JustiFi then imports the payment method file data, and sends a report of the success/fails within the import.
Note: Not all methods may be imported in the event they are missing required information. The export/import process does not include data pertaining to the account's payment method history or subscriptions. Please work directly with your existing processor if you need to retrieve these other data points.
